Signs of Aggression...
"Lola" - During Protection Training
Do you have a dog with an Aggression Issue? No matter how subtle or severe, aggression in dogs is a very serious matter. CPC can help you teach your dog(s) to relax and become a more balanced and stable animal. If your dog is displaying even subtle signs of aggression, please seek professional help immediately! Aggression issues almost always become worse over time and rarely work themselves out.
'Symptoms' such as growling, nipping, biting, snapping, snarling, staring, stalking, stiff body language or even just a 'dirty look' are some behaviors that demand attention as soon as they are detected. Don't panic, don't procrastinate, Contact CPC today to schedule your own Private Evaluation Lesson.
You are Responsible...
If you own a dog with even a minor aggression issue, it is YOUR responsibility to do everything in your power to gain control immediately. You have taken the first step by visiting the Canine Psychology Center web site. Please take the next step and Contact CPC to schedule a no-obligation Private Evaluation Lesson as soon as possible.
Please know this: even though your dog may be displaying aggression toward dogs, people or even you, it doesn't necessarily mean you have an 'aggressive dog'. There is a good chance you have an insecure dog, an anxious dog, a fearful dog or a dominant dog that simply feels the need to control its own surroundings, because it may not think you are up to the task. No matter the issue you may be having with your dog, CPC can analyze your dog's type and level of aggression (or other unwanted behavior) and help you make an educated decision on where to go next with your dog's training needs.
But, we can help...
Aggression in dogs is a VERY serious issue and must be addressed as soon as it is first noticed. Owning a dog with an aggression issue is a HUGE liability and can land you in court, can land the dog in 'jail' or at the end of a needle and can cause a myriad of nightmarish problems.
Not all dogs can be fully rehabilitated. Aggression in dogs often cannot be 'fixed', but can be 'managed' and 'controlled'. Either way, don't hesitate and don't worry! CPC can help you quickly gain confidence and control!
What Our Clients Are Saying
"Hi Suzi!! I just wanted to give you an incredible update on our boy Gunnar. A few weeks ago I had an episode while my husband Casey was busy and thanks to you and your training techniques, I was able to get Gunnar to tell Casey I was having a problem and I was able to keep Gunnar and I calm (which is incredible considering I was on the floor immobilized and only partially able to speak). Not only that, but Gunnar actually stayed calm when the paramedics were in our home! And then today, while doing some outdoor chores, Gunnar "spoke" to tell me there were "intruders" and then pointed them to me in perfect form. I truly cannot thank you enough for helping me with my "problem child" and even if he isn't perfect...he did save my life and stayed completely calm about it!" These techniques really work! Thank you, Jennifer" Jennifer Mrachek August 16, 2015
