NOTE: Canine Psychology Center will customize your dog's obedience training to meet your specifications. If you are looking for a trainer who will help you teach your dog to win obedience trials, then CPC is not the facility for you. Not every dog needs to know every 'traditional obedience command'. We believe that our dogs should be obedient and obey the commands that we choose, but not necessarily be trained utilizing traditional obedience commands and hand signals. {As an example; I never taught my little dog, 'Stella', a formal 'stay' command, but instead I taught her an informal 'wait' command.

4. How to work your dog with a 20 foot, or longer, leash and eventually off-leash.

5. How to properly use a remote collar with your dog, if desired.

6. How to greet strange dogs; keeping your composure in unpredictable situations.

7. You will be given a beginner's course on the 'wolf pack theory' and the art of effective canine communication.
